Full Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Be the main point of contact for the event organiser or bride and groom.
  • Perform the role of Toast Master when required.
  • Manage and organise up to 30 staff.
  • Ensure smooth running of weddings and events, dealing with and preventing any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure all guests requests and standards are met at all times.
  • Deliver an excellent food and beverage service and ensure all staff are trained appropriately for each event.
  • Keep resort branding up to date and work with other teams to create synergy and strong communication to prevent issues arising.
  • Work well under pressure and to strict guidelines.
  • Ensure all staff have a high standard of presentation and that hygiene is maintained.
  • Train and develop all staff to a high standard and resolve any issues with performance effectively.
  • Monitor payroll costs accordingly.
  • Cash handling.
  • Ensure all rotas are completed and signed off through the Fourth system in line with payroll budgets.
  • Undertake any other duties within the department when required.

  • GCSE English grade C /4 or above
  • GCSE Maths grade C/4 or above
  • Microsoft Excel beginner level
  • Experience working in hospitality or events
  • Experience of working to service delivery standards
  • Experience of reviewing and changing working methods for best practice.
  • Customer-service experience.
  • Experience of dealing with Customer complaints
  • Experience of working in public relations, preferably in the hospitality or travel industries
  • Experience of managing a team
  • Knowledge of correct and effective recruitment practices
  • Desired criteria
  • Willingness to undertake further training.
  • Microsoft Excel Intermediate level
  • Experience of using Res-Diary; Ez-runner; Rezlinx;
  • Experience of coaching and mentoring
  • Knowledge of Fourth Hospitality System
  • Coaching and mentoring
