Full Job Description

As Events Support Coordinator, you will coordinate logistical elements of high-profile corporate and ceremonial events including the University's graduation ceremonies and manage the administrative requirements of the Corporate and Ceremonial Events Team.

You will liaise with external suppliers and internal stakeholders, monitor budgets, lead on the production of printed materials and administer the University's bespoke ceremony management and registration system. You will work closely with data to evaluate service delivery, contribute to development work and maintain an engaging web presence for graduation activity.

You will manage and respond to enquiries coming into the Team (face-to-face, telephone and email) from students, staff and guests and lead on communications for around 5,000 graduating students each academic year. You will also undertake logistical and administrative tasks to support the planning and delivery of corporate events, the cross-University Events Network and the University's central Events Training.

You will be an experienced administrator with excellent communication and IT skills, and the ability to work with, and interrogate, large data sets. As part of a team, you will have the ability to work effectively with colleagues and be able to work under your own initiative. You may also have experience of budget administration, content management systems or survey sites.

You would join an energetic and impactful team that delivers a high-profile programme of events which promotes the University's reputation and brand.
