  • IoD Ireland, Reporting to the Examinations Manager, to lead on assessment projects related to data administration, analysis, the implementation of new software within the Professional Standards Team and to provide cover for the examinations coordinator and the Assessment Manager Chartered.
  • To support with the qualification delivery and quality assurance processes for the Certificate in Company Direction and Diploma in Company Direction. To support with the administration of the content and functionality of the assessment platform, providing content query support for internal and external customers and regularly reviewing assessments. To support the Examination Manager in developing and delivering and maintaining new assessments.,
  • Support the Examinations Manager in the coordination and delivery of new and existing professional standards qualifications and assessments.
  • To schedule and manage the processes required to deliver the examinations, ensuring exam cycles are run effectively and efficiently.
  • Supporting the team with any regulatory activities such as exemptions, reasonable adjustment, remarks, clerical checks, appeals, special considerations and standardisation meetings.
  • Manage the Professional Standards mailbox and queries
  • Support the Examinations Manager on scope out requirements for changes and updates to qualifications functionality and data management in Dynamics 365 and other 3rd party delivery platforms as they relate to Professional Standards, monitoring and testing any development work carried out.
  • Provide accurate assessment data and reports as requested to both internal and external stakeholders this can include Management Team, Assessment Committee, finance and Board in line with GDPR and communicate the IoD's GDPR responsibilities to all stakeholders in an effective and timely manner.
  • Provide support to the Assessment Manager Chartered in using the Vidcruiter system and providing cover in their absence including the mailbox when required.
  • Provide support to the Examinations Coordinator in using the Civica system and providing cover in their absence including the mailbox when required
  • Collating, ordering and issuing certificates as required
  • Liaise between, Finance and Professional Standards to ensure coordination of financial and examination recording.
  • Contribute toward accurate communication of assessment information to both internal and external stakeholders, for IoD.com, including assessment guides, FAQs and policies. To advise IoD colleagues on assessment policy.
  • Setting up and running examination preparation sessions, supporting on send out of joining instructions to delegates and presenter, providing refresher sessions if required
  • Contributing to the review of all administrative processes for efficiencies and improvements.
  • Undertaking any other duties which may be reasonably allocated.
  • Supporting with ad hoc projects.

    The role holder must have advanced and broad knowledge of how IT systems operate, how they interact with each other and in particular how to manipulate spread sheets.
  • Knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft office products.
  • Advanced knowledge of Dynamics 365.
  • Advanced mathematics and English., Experience of working within education environment, ideally in professional or higher education.
  • Experience with project management and administrative skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with data management and analysis tools.
  • Skills
  • Proficient usage of data manipulation software Microsoft Excel, Power Query and Power BI.
  • Proficient in using structured/unstructured data solutions and relational databases.
  • Ability to plan and manage own workload.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when accomplishing tasks, no matter how small or large.
  • Ability to speak to IT professionals in technical terms.
  • Taking real life issues to IT professionals and explaining what needs to happen to bring about the result required.
  • A high degree of technical fluency. Knowledge of SQL databases and cloud data/ CRM solutions.
  • The capacity to navigate around bespoke software solutions. Strong analytical skills., Has a positive and professional attitude, demonstrating the values of the IoD
  • Ability to manage complaints and difficult conversations
