Full Job Description

The Exams Administrator will be based on site in Weybridge within the Exams team and responsible for managing the effective and
efficient administration of external examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications regulations and/or
awarding body rules for exams administration in a consistent and secure manner.

About the role:

As Exams Administrator you will deliver a high quality, effective and responsive examination service to all staff and students.
Your role will also include:

  • Ensuring Exam policies and procedures are understood and followed in line with awarding body regulations

  • Responsibility for making sure exams are timetabled, roomed and invigilated

  • Check and collate paperwork and data

  • Deputise for the Exams Coordinator as required

  • All other duties as advised on the job description


  • To fulfil the role of Exams Administrator you will have

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Level 2 English & Maths

  • Evidence of good organisational and administrative skills

  • Ability to maintain a high standard of accuracy under pressure and working to deadlines

  • Strong IT skills across a variety of systems

  • First class communication skills

  • Previous experience of a Further Education working environment a distinct advantage

  • Willingness to work flexibly including occasional evening/Saturday/Bank Holidays

    Exams Administrator - 37 hours per week 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm Friday- (Full-time 52 weeks per year)

  • £20,000 - £22500.
