Examinations Officer

Full-time: working hours: 37 hours per week Term time only, plus 3 weeks to include the period around the release of exam results in August and INSET days

St Michael’s Catholic School requires its Examinations and Data Assistant to be eager and committed to supporting the needs of the school, in particular the pupils’ access to education. This role will include working with senior management, middle management, teachers, support staff, parents, pupils and occasionally outside agencies. This role also requires a post holder who has excellent interpersonal skills and is passionate about developing their abilities through CPD.

  • To ensure the efficient delivery of examinations protocols and processes to ensure St Michael’s pupils comply with regulations and are well-placed to succeed.
  • To be responsible for examinations protocols and procedures meet the instructions of all relevant bodies, including the JCQ.
  • To provide college leaders and curriculum leaders with an analysis of examination performance at KS3, KS4 and KS5.
  • To implement a system to monitor and record controlled assessment
  • External invigilators – maintain bank of invigilators to include training and monitoring of Code of Practice 
  • Reporting to your line manager, but also working directly with the High Wycombe Head of School and the Senior Assistant Headteacher.
  • Liaising with SLT (in particular High Wycombe Headteacher and the Senior Assistant Headteacher), SENCO, PSHCE Co-ordinator, all HoDs and all relevant staff
