Full Job Description

Working within a small dynamic team within MIS reporting directly to the Exams Coordinator this is a varied role that will see the successful applicant providing academic departments and learners with key administrative services and advice.,

  • Organise and manage the administration of internal and external examinations.
  • Liaise with exam boards, teaching staff, and students to ensure exam processes are in line with regulations.
  • Coordinate exam timetables, invigilation schedules, and candidate entries.
  • Ensure the secure handling and distribution of exam papers and materials.
  • Oversee the processing and dissemination of examination results.

    We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized individual to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong attention to detail and excellent administrative skills to play a key role in the smooth running of all internal and external exams within the college., The successful candidate will have the following qualities: Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in exam scheduling, processing results, and following procedures. Organisational Skills: Able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and large volumes of data efficiently Calm Under Pressure: Maintains composure during peak exam periods and when resolving issues. Communication Skills: Able to liaise effectively with students, staff, exam boards, and invigilators. Problem-Solving Abilities: Quickly addresses any issues, such as exam discrepancies or logistical challenges. Integrity and Confidentiality: Handles sensitive information, including exam papers and student data, with discretion. Flexibility: Willing to adapt to changing circumstances and last-minute adjustments in exam schedules. Team Player: Works well with colleagues, invigilators, and teaching staff to ensure smooth exam operations. Initiative: Takes proactive steps to prevent potential issues and streamline processes. Resilience: Able to handle the demands and high-pressure environment of exam administration, especially during busy periods.
