Full Job Description

The position is based in Enfield Council's Exchequer Service is responsible for payment of invoices to the Council's suppliers, individuals, and clients across the Council in accordance with Financial Regulations. The Team is responsible for the administration all payments and provide a frontline service to support internal and external customers to ensure the Council can purchase and pay suppliers., To facilitate transaction activity relating to Creditors on behalf of all Council services.
- Provide user support to Council departments on paying invoices.
- To administer the Council's creditors function which includes the payment of invoices to third party vendors, individuals and clients across the Council, in accordance with the Council's financial regulations within its constitution as well as statutory responsibilities relating to the Construction Industry Scheme and VAT regulations.

Knowledge of Accounts Payable functions
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, including interpreting detailed and complex financial information.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines.
- Exceptional customer services skills and experience
