Full Job Description

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for both the academic and pastoral care of your students, ensuring that each child feels valued, confident, and supported in their learning journey. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that cover the full Key Stage 2 curriculum, with a focus on literacy and numeracy.
  • Differentiating lessons to cater to the individual needs of each student, helping them reach their full potential.
  • Fostering a positive classroom environment where pupils feel safe, motivated, and excited to learn.
  • Monitoring students' progress and providing constructive feedback to pupils and parents.
  • Encouraging social and emotional development, building confidence, and promoting independence among your pupils.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • Excellent communication skills, both with pupils and parents.
  • A passion for teaching and learning, and a commitment to supporting each child's development.
