Full Job Description

Wiltshire College & University Centre is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to the Deputy Principal of Corporate Resources and another senior leader. This role is integral to ensuring smooth daily operations at the executive level and plays a key part in liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Executive Assistant - Key Responsibilities:

  • Diary Management & Meeting Coordination:
  • Efficiently manage the daily schedules of the Deputy Principal and another senior leader. Arrange internal and external meetings, ensuring all logistics, including papers and minutes, are prepared and circulated in a timely manner.
  • Stakeholder Relations:
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with various departments, governors, business leaders, employers, and other stakeholders. Provide assistance as required to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Confidential Secretarial Support:
  • Act as the minute-taker for key college meetings such as College Management Group, Resources Management Team, Systems Development Group, and Capital Projects meetings. Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all documentation.
  • Complaints and Commendations Support:
  • Assist in managing the college's complaints and commendations procedure, ensuring policies are adhered to and responses are delivered in a timely manner.

  • Level 2 (GCSE A-C) qualification or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • A qualification in a relevant administrative discipline.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in managing confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
