Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Executive Support Team for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join a small team providing support to the Council's Senior Leadership Team and Civic Office. This role offers an ideal opportunity for someone looking to start a career in Local Government with the potential to progress to the role of Executive Officer through career development.

You will work with an array of departments across the organisation and also Elected Members and be able to work under pressure/multi-task, adhere to work deadlines and handle confidential information with care and discretion. Excellent organisational skills along with a solution focused and can do attitude are a must and a high level of computer literacy in Office 365, Teams and Microsoft Office, in particular Outlook, Word and Excel are essential. You should also be a dependable team player prepared to work flexibly to suit the needs of the office.
