We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented individual for our Executive Assistant and Insurance Officer (CFO Directorate) role. With a PA/EA or Office Manager background, you will have experience of providing high level assistance to Director level stakeholders as well as having coordinated or managed aspects of commercial insurance such as vehicles or property. This is a fantastic opportunity for an EA/PA looking for more stretch and variety to support a friendly and professional Finance Team whilst developing a specialised skill set within Insurance and Procurement. The successful individual will receive a high level of on-the-job development and support with the opportunity for formal qualifications through the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). What You'll Do:

  • EA/PA: Support Chief Finance Officer, Deputy CFO and Director of Business Development & Knowledge Exchange with coordination of Committee papers, diary management, project support and minute taking for operational groups as required.
  • Insurance: Responsibility for university insurance matters including claims management, changes of insurance cover, collating renewal information and managing external insurance on-line data.
  • Procurement: Assist the Head of Procurement with preparation of tenders, preparing and publishing contract notices and management of procurement exceptions, preparation of procurement KPI's and associated data.

Experienced: Experience in a PA/EA/Office Manager role supporting senior executives. Knowledge of Insurance and Procurement is desirable.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently at all levels.
  • Proactive Problem Solver: Anticipate needs and tackle challenges head-on.
  • If you're ready to make a difference, then please apply.

Even if you don't meet all our outlined requirements but feel you would be a good fit for the role and the University then we would still like to hear from you.
