Full Job Description

The Executive Assistant is essential in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the functional leadership team. This role supports the General Counsel & Director of Regulatory Affairs and their teams within BT Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance & Company Secretary (LRACCS). It involves direct support for these leaders and participation in team projects. The ideal candidate will independently manage projects, improve team workflows (e.g., YourSay, compliance reporting, work prioritisation), and collaborate with other business teams. They will present findings clearly and lead the implementation of agreed changes.,

  • Project Management: Act as the process owner for allocated team projects, developing timelines, creating schedules, and overseeing progress to ensure deliverables are met.

  • Communication and Reporting: Serve as a key point of contact within the BT Group, providing regular reports and communication to align team and programme expectations.

  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate content and activities, leveraging stakeholder relationships, and using detailed analysis, experience, and expertise.

  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain internal and external relationships to improve and maximise efficiencies and impact across the business.

  • Administrative Expertise: Deliver as a subject matter specialist on administrative systems, activities, and processes., Diary Management & Time Management: Effectively communicate and prioritise critical tasks to enable Executives to deliver efficiently. Balance conflicting requests and manage time and stakeholder expectations.

  • Proactivity & Planning: Take accountability for owning and delivering outcomes. A self-starter who works autonomously, planning ahead and delivering to deadlines.

  • Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Establish trust and credibility quickly with key stakeholders, leveraging experience to build strong relationships.

  • Office Administration & Event Planning: Operate with a continuous improvement mindset, identifying opportunities to enhance ways of working and drive projects forward.

  • Project Management: Confidently cut through complexity to deliver against project and operational needs.
