Strategy & Portfolio Role
The primary function of our team is to actively oversee, direct, provide guidance and monitor the performance of the YJBs portfolio to ensure our work achieves maximum impact and adheres to the Government Functional Standards for Portfolio Delivery.
+ The post holder will support the smooth running and maintenance of portfolio reporting processes and provide administrative support across the portfolio.
+ The post holder will support all aspects of portfolio planning, which will include the development, updating and monitoring of milestone plans and schedules for projects and core activity.
+ The role will include working with and maintaining strong communication with internal and external colleagues to inform all areas of the organisations work.
Business Intelligence & Insights Role
The Business Intelligence and Insights Directorate gathers and interprets information from a range of sources (including data, research, and wider intelligence). This information supports: the YJBs oversight of the Youth Justice System, helps us to understand how the system is operating and whether it is achieving its aims, and helps to identify future opportunities and challenges for children and the YJS.
The directorate leads the organisation in gathering, developing and using data and evidence well.
+ The post holder will:
+ provide administrative support to the Evidence & Insights and Statistics & Analysis teams (including meeting organisation, minute taking, monitoring mailboxes) and will support the smooth running of the YJBs research and analytical output.
+ be responsible for drafting communications, correspondence, reports or briefings adapted in style and content to suit different audiences.
+ be expected to contribute to the publication of the Annual Youth Justice Statistics, and other high priority work, such as the Key Performance Indicators - quality assuring work and responding to queries., We'll assess you against these behaviours during the selection process:
