Full Job Description

Support the ongoing design, development and implementation of total Reward frameworks for the 'Executive' Population to ensure the Company is able to attract, retain and incentivise colleagues. Manage all Global Mobility arrangements ensuring policies, processes and third-party contractual arrangements are fit for purpose.,

  • Act as a trusted advisor on sensitive matters for Chief People Officers and business leaders regarding recruitment, internal moves, retention awards, and exits for executives.

  • Manage the join to leave process for executives, including compensation proposals, offer letters, and separation agreements.

  • Calculate reward packages for external offers/internal moves and perform buyout valuations of incentives.

  • Communicate National Grid incentive plans and reward arrangements to external candidates and recruiters.

  • Collaborate with legal counsel and tax advisors to address issues during the join to leave process.

  • Lead the executive pay process in the annual compensation cycle.

  • Develop an understanding of complex incentive plans and provide support to plan participants and senior stakeholders.

  • Advise on executive pay considerations in ad-hoc projects and regularly review reward guidelines.

  • Develop and implement a Global Mobility policy, manage contracts with third-party providers, and ensure compliance.

  • Lead and develop a highly motivated team, and manage relationships with vendors supporting Global Mobility arrangements.

    Demonstrable experience in Reward management, Executive Pay and Global Mobility.

  • Experience of developing and implementing Reward solutions involving base pay, variable pay, annual and longer-term incentives and benefits.

  • Experienced in developing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.

  • Extensive knowledge of incentive plans (APP, LTPP) and Global Mobility Reward arrangements including immigration, tax and legislative issues.

  • Experienced in the administration of complex reward arrangements, external benchmarking, market analysis, design and implementation of policies and procedures.

    A competitive salary between £60,000 - £75,000 - dependent on capability

    As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus of up to 15% of your salary for stretch performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
