Full Job Description

Fantastic PA / EA opportunity within a friendly, busy team working 50/50 between the office (Southampton Hospital Tremona Rd site) and home. This is an interesting and varied role offering the opportunity to work with a broad range of stakeholders, whilst supporting the Chief People Officer and HR leadership team., You'll be involved in everything from juggling diary commitments to taking minutes, organising meetings to collating reports, preparing agendas and meeting packs to organising travel; and making the odd cuppa for guests!
This is a busy role where the ability to prioritise and plan your time effectively is essential. You'll have exposure to confidential information so it is important that you are sensitive to this. You'll ideally have done some PA work before and be looking to step up to EA. You'll be organised and practical, a real team player and someone who thrives on multitasking.
This role has come up through an internal promotion of our current PA; we're very happy to support personal development and offer opportunities for broader exposure within the hospital., Equality remains at the centre of our policymaking, service delivery, and employment practice, giving all employees equal opportunity to develop, apply for promotions, and have working arrangements that enable them to achieve a manageable work-life balance.
UHS actively promotes a work environment free from harassment and discrimination and provides training for managers and staff to ensure this happens. We also closely monitor recruitment activity, training, development, and employment practices to ensure equality of practice with regard to race, colour, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, gender, sexual orientation, disability, marital status and age.

As one of the largest acute teaching Trusts in England, we offer learning and development opportunities to help you achieve the career you aspire to.

Specific to this role is the suitability for agile working which is a mixture of on-site and remote working. In addition, we are open to discussing flexibility in the hours that you work. Please talk to us at the interview about the flexibility you need, and we will explore what's possible for the role and service. UHS employees are able to access a range of NHS discounts, are entitled to a minimum of 35 days paid holiday (pro rata), and we offer a generous pension scheme.
