Full Job Description

Are you looking to work at an exciting new project, supporting women to exit prostitution?

This is a dedicated role, focusing on leading a new Exiting Prostitution Team that will be supporting women to exit street prostitution in Brent. You will be an important stakeholder in the implementation of the project and its continued success.,

  • To lead on and implement the Exiting Prostitution Project, using project management and communication skills to ensure its continued success.

  • You will be able to provide clear and concise reports on the progress of the project to key stakeholders.

  • Line managing one member of staff (Exiting Prostitution Practitioner) who will provide high quality, tailored support and services to women working in prostitution within the borough.

  • Providing support to women working in prostitution alongside the Exiting Prostitution Practitioner. This will be through shift patterns and will include early morning and late night sessions.

  • Provide effective assertive outreach within the borough to vulnerable women that require support exiting prostitution.

  • To understand the needs of women street sex working in the identified local area through co-production.


  • The Service
    This is a new project working within the Via Brent, New Beginnings umbrella.

    Via Brent, New Beginnings is a fully integrated substance misuse service, providing psychosocial and clinical interventions in partnership with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL). The service is based across 2 hubs; Cobbold Road and the Willesden Centre for Health. The team actively promotes recovery and works with individuals that are directly and indirectly affected by substance misuse, working with the local community to improve the health, wellbeing and functioning of Brent residents, irrespective of circumstance.

    This post will be based across the London Borough of Brent. This post will be shift based, with early morning and late night shift work essential.
