Full Job Description
Main duties and responsibilities are indicated here. Other duties of an appropriate level and nature may also be required. ORGANISATION
- Deal with complex reception/visitor etc. matters.
- Liaising with Office Manager relating to work to be undertaken by the school office
- Assist in the organisation of school trips/events etc ADMINISTRATION
- Manage manual and computerised record/information systems.
- Analyse and evaluate data/information and produce reports/information/data as required.
- Complete daily school attendance procedures and long term monitoring, assist EWO with meetings and follow up as appropriate
- Undertake typing and word-processing and complex IT based tasks.
- Provide personal, administrative and organisational support to other staff.
- Provide administrative support to the Governing Body.
- Undertake administration of complex procedures.
- Complete and submit complex forms, returns etc., including those to outside agencies e.g. DfES.
- Be responsible for school admissions ensuring criteria are adhered to correctly.
- Manage induction procedures for new children e.g tours of the school as required, meetings for new parents;
- Book training courses for staff as directed by the Headteacher.
- Support the administration of recruitment e.g arranging advertising, collating documentation for candidates and arranging for this to be sent;
- Support with the administration and clerical processes relating to staff recruitment and other staff changes as required; RESOURCES
- Operate relevant equipment/complex ICT packages.
- Order, monitor and manage stock using established school systems.
- Support the sale of school uniform, monitor stock and place orders
- Provide advice and guidance to staff, pupils and others. Purpose and context: Under the guidance of senior staff: be responsible for undertaking administrative processes within the school. To be responsible for assisting in the smooth running of the school office, manage computerized databases of pupil and staff information, manage daily attendance and be the first point of contact for all stakeholders.,

- Comply with and assist with the development of policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.

- Establish constructive relationships and communicate with other agencies/professionals.
- Attend and participate in regular meetings.
- Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required. General Statements
