Full Job Description

  • You'll own the design system and make sure that the user experience is consistent across products and features on all platforms.

  • Guide design efforts across teams, including strategy, planning, working with cross-functional partners to remove blockers and presenting effectively to management and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with your peers within Product, Engineering and Data to continually evolve a strategic vision for what we're building, with a strong focus on solving user problems.

  • Guide your designers to truly define their career paths, identify opportunities and empower them to do the best work of their careers.

  • Hold the team accountable to leverage and extend the use our design system, style guides, patterns and assets in the creation of design deliverables.

  • Champion a culture of innovation, pushing the design system to drive decision making early on in the process.

  • Actively hire top talent, scale and structure the team

    You truly comprehend how software is built and how design makes an impact in a multi-disciplinary environment.

  • A complete experience design skillset, delivering excellence across products and platforms, particularly mobile apps.

  • Experience leading delivery, through feedback, design critique, presentation to stakeholders, planning and coordinating with partners where needed.

  • Proven experience of managing designers of different seniority levels working in independent squads, on the key layers that make up the user's experience. Continually developing, improving processes and setting goals for your team

  • You exhibit an impeccable level of craft and detail, balancing business and customer requirements and are deeply passionate about consumer-based products that continue to elevate the design bar.

  • The ability to wear many hats and to think conceptually and strategically about design.

  • Experience developing complex design systems for digital products.

  • Experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

  • You come from a strong design background, ideally in the fintech / mobile app industry.

    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experience Design Lead to join our dynamic team. You'll be the subject matter expert in the design field, leading squads across Product Design, Visual Design, Creative Strategy, Research and Copywriting. You'll be at the forefront of our design initiatives, leading by example and setting the standard for design quality across our ground-breaking product. You're an experienced Design Leader who has successfully taken challenging business goals and translated them into truly inspiring world-class designs. Ideally, you'll have a deep understanding of the fintech / financial services industry.
