The successful Music Teacher will have the opportunity to work in an environment that values education and learning, utilizing their skills and experience to make a meaningful difference to the lives of students. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Music curriculum, a passion for teaching, and the ability to create an inclusive and safe classroom environment.
As a Music teacher in this lovely and progressive school, you will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects to Music students. It will provide you with an opportunity to support and motivate students to reach their full potential and work alongside a supportive and excellent team of staff.

Music Teacher responsibilities:
· Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons to Music students, using creativity and innovation to keep the students engaged.
· Assess and evaluate student progress, providing formal and informal feedback to students and parents.
· Collaborate with colleagues to plan, prepare and participate in school events, including extracurricular activities.
· Establish and maintain open and positive communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
· Utilise a student-centered approach to teaching, encouraging independent thinking, and problem-solving.
· Incorporate inclusive practices into teaching approaches, recognising the diverse needs of students.
· Ensure accurate record-keeping, including attendance records and student data, in line with the school's policies.
· QTS, PGCE and strong academic record
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Highly organised and able to manage competing demands effectively.
· Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Passionate about teaching and creating a positive learning environment.
The salary for this Music position will be paid to scale on a permanent contract to scale MPS/UPS.
