Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit an experienced and efficient Phlebotomist who is caring, motivated and committed to patient care to compliment our dedicated nursing team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the other practice nurses and HCA to treat our patients, maintain systems including infection control to meet CQC requirements and influence and implement policy and change in the Practice.Main duties of the job As part of our nursing team you will be responsible for taking blood samples and providing general patient assistance. You will work with other members of the team to ensure clinical areas meet a satisfactory infection control level and remain adequately stocked with consumables. Other duties as may be reasonably required from time to time as are consistent with the responsibility, training and scale of the post e.g. blood pressure checks, health checks.

    This is a part-time position, 16 hours per week (can be flexible but ideally looking for four mornings 8:30-12:30) and salary is competitive, depending on experience, with access to NHS pension scheme.
