Full Job Description

We are looking for an Extra Care Cleaner supporting our three Extra Care schemes based in Maidenhead and the surrounding area. You will carry out thorough and complete cleaning through the schemes using a range of equipment and materials to maintain high standards of cleanliness. This includes cleaning of communal areas including toilets, lounge, activity rooms, hair salon, dining room, guest room, laundry, assisted bathroom, offices, entrance, lifts, stairs and landings and bin store area.

You will need to complete estate based fire risk assessment (FRA) actions as instructed by the Estate Services Manager. Ensuring removal of items as required, and sending photographic evidence to the Compliance Coordinators.

You will need to have previous experience of dealing with and providing excellent service to customers, as well as experience of operating cleaning equipment. You will also need to have a basic understanding of Health and Safety COSHH and security procedures.

The ability to communicate confidently and sensitively with a range of customers as well as to work on your own initiative to resolve issues is also needed for this role.

This position requires you to clean large areas, including above shoulder level.

The successful applicant will require an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate which is considered satisfactory to Housing Solutions.
