Full Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and caring colleague to join our Early Years team in our Reception class. You will work in collaboration with the Reception teachers and a dedicated team of support staff to support groups of pupils with their learning in order for them to achieve their true potential. We are looking for a colleague who can bring and share good practice at Millbrook.,

  • Supporting the class teacher
  • Delivering planned learning activities
  • Engaging in high-quality play in the continuous provision
  • Promoting and developing children's independence
  • Recording assessments that capture children's interests and achievements
  • Establishing positive supportive relationships with pupils and their families

    You will need a good general standard of education including GCSE English and Maths to Grade C or equivalent and an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in early childhood development, supporting teaching and learning or similar. Prior experience of working in a school setting is desirable.
