Full Job Description

The purpose of this role is to support façade function in ensuring the Sisk business delivers cost effective and compliant building envelopes Location can be St Albans, Solihull or Warrington as it's fully remote, Preconstruction Phase

  • Support with writing high level project review reports (RIBA stage 2/3)
  • Reviewing project documentation relevant to the envelope (RIBA stage 3/4)
  • Carry out specialist subcontractor tender reviews
  • Carry out specialist subcontractor technical reviews on products and samples
  • Attend preconstruction meetings when required and taking notes
  • Support with writing reports
  • Construction Phase
  • Reviewing specialist subcontractor drawings
  • Reviewing specialist subcontractor technical submissions
  • Attend meetings/workshops as required by the site design manager
  • Support with carrying out site benchmarking and QA checks
  • Support with carrying out site QA audits
  • Perform general administration tasks for the façade function
  • Managing technical documentation including standards, product data etc.
  • Retrieving documents as required from archiving etc.
  • Perform technical analysis of systems/products/materials

    Candidate needs to be motivated and enthusiastic
  • Preferably at least five years' experience in a design/technical role
  • Be capable of working alone but have the ability to integrate into many functioning teams
  • Flexibility and adaptability is a key part of the role
  • Ability to be able to adapt to different surroundings
  • A professional attitude is required
  • Ability to be able to prioritise tasks
  • Ability to hold technical conversations
  • Candidate needs to be organised and understand the importance of record keeping
  • Technical skills - a good level of understanding of building envelope design, systems, products and materials
  • Have knowledge of information management systems i.e. Viewpoint/Dalux
