inclusive and responsible business that is helping to build a better society. We are looking for a Fabric Team Leader to join our Building Services team in Northwood. To oversee and lead the onsite fabric team in delivering all associated Planned & Reactive maintenance You'll:
- Ensure effective deployment of the Fabric Team in actioning fabric related Planned & Reactive Maintenance & project works
- Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
- Carry out survey works and prepare quotations as required by the client.
- Identify staff training needs and report to immediate manager for authorisation.
- Carry out quality checks of all works being carried out to ensure compliance with agreed standards
- Perform planned preventative maintenance, statutory compliance tasks and reactive works investigations/repairs on all Fabric, Fixtures and Fittings.
- Locksmith duties on a reactive basis
- Fire Door PPM inspections and maintenance, including reactive repairs
- Liaise / assist with other services as necessary for the efficient delivery of work activities, workmanship and productivity to comply with the performance standards
NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent - Experience in a similar role on an MOD site
- Working knowledge of other building services and trades
- Excellent team working and problem solving capabilities
- Able to fully satisfy the Client security clearance minimum requirements (SC)
- Experience of fabric, fixtures and fittings Maintenance
- Suitable qualifications and experience in Fire Door inspections and maintenance
- Suitable qualifications and experience in Locksmith duties for reactive repairs
