Full Job Description

  • Ensure all waste containers are refurbished to a high standard
  • Ensure all working equipment is thoroughly checked daily prior to use and reporting of any defective equipment, ensuring all defective equipment is taken out of service immediately and stored away in a locked quarantine area
  • Ensure all risk assessments and working instructions are adhered to at all times
  • Keep all workshop areas clean, tidy and free from trip hazards where possible. Ensuring all waste material is disposed of in the correct containers as soon as practically possible
  • Keep a monthly stock check of all consumables within the refurbishment workshops whilst ensuring all stock is ordered in a timely manner
  • Assist with running the waste transfer station by using yellow plant machinery when needed
  • Help with the delivery and removal of containers by the use of flatbed vehicles when needed

    FLT Counterbalance licence
  • MIG Welding Qualification
  • Commercial operations background Manual Handling certificate
  • Good time management skills
  • Risk and COSHH knowledge
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Telehandler Yellow Plant licence - Desirable
  • Coded Welding Certificate - Desirable
