Full Job Description

As our Facilities Administrator you will support with strategic planning as well as day to day operation of processes and services, particularly in relation to buildings and premises across operations in our east and south east London businesses. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all building works and maintenance projects are planned and communicated, as well as assisting in the procurement/tendering process for contractors and suppliers. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating all of our external building and maintenance projects, whilst leading on all our essential services including security, property maintenance, cleaning, waste-disposal and recycling. You will also track our premises H&S compliance, requirements, including CDM regulations and raise any areas of concern with our engineering management team. Additionally you will co-ordinate our bus vehicle electrification

programme. Ideally you will have proven competence in building management/construction administration, whilst working in a similar facilities role with sound interpersonal skills including communication. Flexibility is key as you may need to travel to our bus garage premises in east and south east London as part of this role. You will also have good IT skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise projects, analyse data with good attention to detail. A recognised qualification in this field or in H&S would be desirable. This is an office based role based at our Head Office in West Ham working between the hours of 0830 and 1730.
