To cover an internal promotion, we are delighted to be seeking an Administrator with Facilities experience to join our team at HMP Channings Wood, a category C adult male training prison.

HMP Channings Wood runs like a self-contained city/town, it takes hundreds of people to keep it functioning, and as the Facilities Maintenance Team we are committed and driving the smooth and safe operation, like a heart that pumps blood through the body, everything we do impacts every prisoner, employee, and visitor, and wider to the families and community.
As a Administration Officer you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, and others, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all.
We are a Ministry of Justice business and provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a Administration Officer with any combination of:
- Experience in using a variety of IT systems including CAFM, Planet FM and CEMAR
- Experience in a busy office environment
- Experience of working without supervision
- Confidence using a range of MSOffice programs with a good working knowledge of Excel
- Up to date First Aid qualification (Desirable)
- Considerable Administrative experience, Disability Confident
