Facilities Assistant - Stackpole

You will work as part of a small team caring for the holiday accommodation at the Stackpole Centre, during busy times there is also support from external cleaning contractors. We host school and university residential stays, large and small family bookings, weddings, birthday celebrations and bucket & spade holidays. Stackpole is a listed designed landscape and an internationally important nature reserve. This stunning location takes in an eight-mile stretch of coastline, with sandy beaches, wooded valleys and lily ponds. Staff work across a varied portfolio which includes Bosherston Lakes and Tudor Merchant's House in Tenby. What you'll be doing As the Facilities Assistant, known internally as Housekeeper, you'll assist with the day to day cleanliness and presentation the National Trust's holiday accommodation at the Stackpole Centre. You'll turn your practical hand to all sorts of cleaning and minor maintenance ensuring all our facilities are kept in good working order. You'll also be asked to help with some manual work such as unloading deliveries. Duties such as cleaning, sweeping and litter picking will form a core part of the role, both inside and outdoors. You'll ensure the highest standards of customer service across the area by always implementing a 'customer comes first' attitude.

Hours: 400 hours per year. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.
