Full Job Description
University Hospitals of Derby & Burton NHS Foundation Trusts provide a quality service that improves patient and staff experiences. The post holder will assist in managing these sectors within the Estates and Facilities Directorate, inclusive of Logistics, Transport, Couriers for all Trust sites. Portering, Post Room and Linen services for the Burton site as required in an efficient and cost effective manner and within the Trust's Policies and Quality Standards. Measurable through the delivery of high standard of services in a timely, responsive and cost-effective manner, in line with current legislation and guidance leading the way for a first class service at the Trust.,
- To assist in all aspects of management for all of University Hospitals of Derby & Burton sites for Logistics, Transport, Couriers, and QHB site for Portering, Post Room, and Linen services.
- Ensuring that the daily work schedules of all departments are conducted in line with Trust Policies and Procedures in order to deliver a professional and efficient service.
- Responsible for the deployment of resources; ensuring this is cost effective and that processes are robust to support the provision of efficient and high quality facilities services.
- Advise and influence facilities services expenditure, to improve the delivery of high standards of service to patients', staff and stakeholders.
- Directly responsible for team leaders/supervisors
- Deputise in the absence of Facilities Manager
- Responsible for pool cars across UHDB NHS Foundation Trust and related policies.
- Lead for Environmental & Sustainability enabling strategy.
