Full Job Description

We're recruiting for graduates to join our Facilities team at the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking, Surrey. The role will involve assisting with the management of operational, maintenance and improvement activities on all building engineering systems within the McLaren portfolio of properties. Focus will be on maintaining uptime of all critical engineering services systems to enable business activities to operate on an uninterrupted basis. Please note this position is on-site 5 days a week at the McLaren Technology Centre, to best facilitate your learning and development during the scheme. The closing date for applications is Friday, 15th November 2024. Virtual first stage interviews will take place in early January 2025, with the second stage of the process being on-site assessment centres in late January/early February. What You'll Do

  • Understand and assist in the operation of the facilities engineering systems across the McLaren property portfolio. Assist in the management of subcontracts associated with Building Services support (M&E, BMS, Fire, Lifts and others as and when applicable)
  • Identify plant and system obsolescence, and associated system improvements. Assist with preparation of costed proposals for inclusion in capital budgets
  • Engineer and manage small to medium project works to enhance operational and/or system efficiency, availability and capability. Liase closely with the Capital Projects team to ensure significant Capex projects are integrated and handed over smoothly into existing engineering systems
  • Identify, scope and implement energy reduction schemes across the building services systems
  • Ensure O&M and other engineering services documentation is maintained and up to date.
