Full Job Description
- Be responsible for managing the Facilities Management sites and buildings services contracts supporting scientific departments and studies, across Huntingdon, Eye (Suffolk) and Shardlow (Derbyshire).
- Manage the facilities management and scientific equipment helpdesks across all 3 sites.
- Manage up to 4 direct reports, working on the helpdesk.
- Be the escalation and communication channel in support of the wider business and work with senior leaders to ensure the timely resolution of risk mitigation and maintenance issues.
- Manage small projects within Facilities Management and cross-site departmental leadership, and site leads.
- Act as the Facilities subject matter expert for rodent ingress, air flow management and asset insurance management, and other key business areas.
- Be the contact for sponsor and regulatory audits on behalf of the Facilities Management team.
Do you have experience within the Life Sciences industry? Do you have proven supervisory experience?, - Experience working within the life sciences industry
- Proven experience in a supervisory role
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills with various stakeholders at all levels
- Good understanding of budgeting and finance
- Contract management experience would be preferred
