Facilities Housekeeper

To work under the Facilities Team Leader and deputise for day to day operational issues in their absence . To promote good teamwork and flexibility within the department., The main duties of the role will be working closely with nursing and estates teams and where applicable some head of departments .The post holder will work under direction of the Facilities Team Leader. To undertake all mandatory training as required within the role . To support the Facilities team to complete their training such as safe use of equipment infection control moving and handling and food hygiene . To support the Facilities Team Leader with the Trust recruitment and induction process within the department . Be responsible for monitoring quality standards and compliance while working in line with Trust policies procedures and National Cleaning Standards 2021 Guidance . To ensure a safe effective and compliant cleaning service is delivered with support from the Facilities Team Leader . Exercise effective leadership in managing the performance or the Facilities Service Team .
