Full Job Description
The Facilities and Hygiene Manager is responsible for delivering an effective facilities maintenance, projects, and Hygiene support to the operational and facilities equipment across the Andover sites. Additionally supporting Site Services activities across all sites and providing support and direction to the Facilities and Hygiene team. What You'll Be Doing :
- Work closely and cooperatively with, and set a professional example to other members of the Site Services team and all other members of the Andover Operations
- Deputise for in the absence of the Site Services Manager
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are in place and regularly reviewed
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards (LOLER / PUWER / etc)
- Maintain GXP, specifically cGMP standards
- Ensure strict Contractor control is maintained
- Implement a cost effective and compliant Facilities maintenance plan CM and PPM
- Implement a cost effective and compliant Hygiene program across all Andover sites
- Provide an effective Asset Care program across all sites / depots
- Manage the day-to-day Facilities and Hygiene budget
- Training and development program in place for all staff
Maintenance / Facilities / mech / elect background (preferred - C&G apprenticeship or equivalent experience) - Project Management experience (preferred - Prince 2 Foundation / Practitioner / APM)
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
- Good understanding of Statutory & Regulatory compliance
- Good understanding of LOLER / PUWER regulation
- Experience of working within and leading a diverse workforce
- Communicate effectively across all levels within the organisation
- Highly organised and with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Proven Supervisory / Management experience within a Facilities / Hygiene Environment
- A confident and assertive individual
- Demonstrable understanding of cGMP standards and guidelines
- IT literate, competent in MS Office applications
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships across the business
