Full Job Description

As a Facilities Management Consultant you will be responsible for:
•   Supporting the delivery of individual schemes for a client or working under a team leader providing a range of FM consultancy support to a customer
•   Initiating, managing and delivering projects under our business management systems (BMS)
•   Establishing budgets and monitoring and controlling the financial performance of projects
•   FM strategic reviews, design reviews and service delivery model development;
•   Estates and asset strategies and rationalisation;
•   FM procurement and outsourcing projects;
•   Whole life costing;
•   FM benchmarking and market testing;
•   FM services specification scoping and performance monitoring system development;
•   FM due diligence, performance, operational monitoring and service audits;
•   Contract management and operational support;
•   FM service mobilisation and transition support;
•   FM bid support;
•   FM data management with building information modelling (BIM); and
•   Environmental sustainability alignment with FM.,

    A fundamental part of this is respecting each person’s differences and striving to meet their needs.Â, •   Have prior experience in facilities management delivery at a managerial or strong operational level

  • •   Good knowledge of the FM market in the UK and an understanding of business development activities
    •   Demonstrable understanding of legislation and H&S with regards to hard and / or soft FM services
    •   Understanding of FM service standards, in particular with reference to hard and soft FM services provided within, among others, Healthcare & Education sectors
    •   Strong knowledge of and capability with a range of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
    •   An excellent communicator with customers / clients, able to converse in a professional, concise and engaging manner

    Desirable but not essential:

    •   Be approaching professional qualifications in FM or similar built environment discipline, or be a qualified member of a recognised relevant professional body with professional / chartered status
    •   Experience of FM contract administration and management
    •   Experience of CAFM systems and FM data
    •   Experience of working in the public and private sector on stand-alone schemes and on frameworks
