Full Job Description
As a Facilities Management Officer you will be working alongside technical experts and supporting the team to deliver high performing professional Facilities Management Services throughout Derbyshire.
You will be required to liaise and work with a variety of stakeholders assisting in developing key relationships.
You will have:
+ A positive and constructive approach to problem solving.

+ Confidence to work under pressure and manage several tasks simultaneously.
You will play a key role in:
+ Assisting with monitoring building related checks and tests ensuring they are undertaken in accordance with current health and safety legislation and regulations.
+ Assisting with financial monitoring of the revenue budgets, including the checking and authorisation of orders and invoices.
+ Assisting with co-ordination of Facilities Management services and use of space, where necessary, to ensure an efficient and effective service is provided to building users.
+ Liaising with colleagues in Corporate Property to formulate programmes of building repairs and maintenance for the Council's administrative headquarters.
+ Assisting colleagues in Property and Finance & ICT with the preparation of commercially viable tenders, contracts and service level agreements required for the effective running of the Council's administrative headquarters.
+ Acting as liaison with key stakeholders in the service delivery of the cleaning and grounds maintenance services of the Council's joint venture service, supporting with monitoring and contract liaison.
