Facilities Manager Overview: The Facilities Manager is responsible for maintenance and compliance at the Home, ensuring regulatory standards are met. They will lead a small team in maintaining facilities and equipment and, when the need arises be hands-on to support the timely completion of reactive maintenance tasks. They will have responsibility for managing the maintenance budget, overseeing the safe delivery of work carried out by external service providers, and providing regular updates to management teams.

Are you a self-motivated and organised individual ready to take responsibility for managing a small team and overseeing all aspects of the maintenance required within our care home?, The ideal candidate for this position should have an HNC or similar qualification in a relatable subject, trade qualifications, and relevant on-the-job training. They should have experience in Facilities/Estates Management, preferably in a care/health environment, and a working knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations. Additionally, they should possess project management, budget management, and contractor management skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
