Central Functions is formed of the teams and people that serve the entire business. About the Facilities Department and the Role The Facilities team is responsible for maintaining THG sites, ensuring that all colleagues and visitors are in a clean, safe and functional environment while on site. THG is seeking a Facilities Manager professional to oversee the delivery of the overall Facilities Management strategy and service, while providing clear reporting KPIs to key internal stakeholders. In addition to the standard daily FM operations management, the FM will be expected to deliver project management, investigation, innovation, and variable change management across the campus. FM will manage all service lines and streams including, but not limited to, hard services, soft services and life cycle asset management as well as manage the human resources of the FM team on site.,
- Manage, lead, and support a team of direct reports on-site which will include soft and hard services support staff
- Contractor Management - project manage, supervise, and coordinate all aspects of 3^rd party contracted works on-site, in full adherence to Contractor Management policy
- Manage all aspects of FM health and safety, in full adherence to THG H&S management policies
- Review RAMS, issue work permits, risk assess and manage the internal compliance systems in a timely and accurate manner.
- Own the delivery of on-site maintenance agreements across a wide range of support services for both statutory and non-statutory maintenance, including fire safety systems, heating, air conditioning, cleaning, waste etc. Etc.
- Ensure that all site facilities meet government regulations, health and security standards and energy efficiency requirements, and are well maintained to a good standard
- Manage budgets for site maintenance and staffing
- Market test, compare and tender all costs for the supply of goods or services to achieve maximum value for money
- Manage and lead change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities
- Directly manage essential on-site services such as reception, internal maintenance, post, archiving, cleaning, waste disposal and recycling, coordinate, plan and cooperate with other internal key stakeholders as required
- Use performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate the achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement
IOSH Managing Safely qualification essential, NEBOSH Gen Cert or Diploma would be an advantage. - Project management skills
- Experience of working in a similar office environment would be an advantage
