Full Job Description

We currently have an opportunity within our Facilities team in Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (Central) for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to take delegated responsibility for the following services in the Central Area:-

Portering Services

Residential Accommodation

Materials Management /Stores

Post Room

Transport (on site)

Domestic Services & Linen Distribution (when required)

The overall purpose of the role is to manage the provision of a range of Facilities Services (excluding Catering) within the acute and community hospital sites in the Central geographical area of the Health Board., The Manager has responsibility for providing operational support for these services for the Head of Facilities (Central) and other members of the Senior Management Team.

The Manager will lead in identifying and implementing change, which contributes, to direction and strategy. They will be expected to develop policies following allocation of specific responsibilities, use resources effectively, and contribute to the wider activities and plans of the IHC and BCUHB.

The post will be based at Glan Clwyd Hospital but the Facilities Manager will need to be able to travel to Community Hospitals and Clinics.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
