A opportunity for a Facilities Project Engineer has arisen in Miskin. The Facilities Project Engineer will be responsible for the interpretation of requirements and the execution of minor and major facilities, sustainability and departmental projects at our Miskin facility.,
- Development of design proposals and preparation of tender specifications and associated documentation
- Participation in subsequent tender processes and selection of contractors
- Production of credible project plans
- Site and project management responsibility for the duration of projects
- Cost control and project budget management and reporting
A minimum of 4 GCSEs A-C passes or equivalent in maths, English and sciences - A recognised Construction Industry qualification in Building Services/Facilities
- Good knowledge level of Solid Edge 2D drafting or Revit 3D modelling.
- Proven ability for planning and managing minor and major construction projects.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Project software
- Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office software package
- Proven budget preparation, control and management ability
- Full UK driving licence, Formal qualification in Health & Safety management
- Good organisational skills
- Good communicator, face to face and written
- Current PASMA mobile tower operator licence
- Current First Aid qualification
- CITB SMSTS or SSSTS qualification - site manager/supervisor safety training Person specification The successful applicant will be self-motivated, confident and positive. They will possess excellent communication skills, contributing in technical discussions. An ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously is essential. They will display a focused organised approach to the role together with the demonstration of effective time management, prioritisation and decision-making skills.
