Full Job Description

How will you contribute?

  • To assist with the site services contracts including recycling, waste handling, hygiene, occasional inspections and general maintenance activities when required to ensure a comprehensive service level is maintained.
  • This will involve operating counterbalance and reach trucks, scissor lifts and other MEWPS. Training will be provided to the successful candidates.
  • You will be available to learn new skills, attending training courses when applicable to improve your underpinning knowledge and enable you to perform at a professional level, this will include working at height training.
  • You will work alongside the wider facilities team members and assist occasionally with site maintenance tasks, weekly inspections and managing contractors.
  • Building effective working relationships with contractor partners.
  • Work alongside current Facilities team to ensure all areas of the sites are maintained to an excellent standard.
  • Championing upcoming environmental changings within the business in line with legislations updates.
  • Creating and maintaining relationships with the Operations department.

    Working safely, having a can do, will do attitude and a conscientious approach to your responsibilities are the most important personal qualities for the successful candidate.
  • You will be dealing with colleagues, customers and contractors daily, and you will have sufficient communication skills to maintain good relationships.
  • Self-motivated using their own initiative to organise & prioritise daily/weekly routine to a laid down schedule.
  • Environmentally aware & motivated.
  • A pro-active attitude to maintaining & improving standards.
