Full Job Description
- Providing necessary sealing film to the production lines, ensuring PPM targets are achieved and production lines start on time and run smoothly through the duration of the production day.
- Effectively maintaining all packaging sealing films by ensuring they are transported and stored correctly.
- Ordering sealing films against provisional orders and maintain enough stock for full completion of these orders, ensuring these films are received and checked against the ordered inventory list.
- Ensuring all received and stored sealing films always have appropriate labels and traceability information present at all times.
- Managing sanitisation of the misting tunnel and surrounding area, to minimize production line waiting time by swiftly removing the packaging and distributing it to the correct lines or appropriate storage area.
We are looking for applications from candidates who have previous experience working within a chilled food manufacturing environment. We have a Film Runner position available in our High Care Pack department. The purpose of the position is to stock and distribute production packaging, particularly sealing films to the production lines in our high-care packing area., The ideal candidate will have experience in a food manufacturing environment in a similar position and have an understanding of GMP practises. Being flexible and reliable, the right candidate will also have a pro-active approach to carrying out work activities.
You must be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions, have excellent communication skills and be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. With a good general education you will have a methodical and organised approach to work, both individually and as part of a team.
