Are you interested in playing a key role in ensuring that Post Graduate Research (PGR) students in the Faculty have access to first-class support, excellent academic provision and processes and procedures that enable them to progress through their programme of research?

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will work closely with academic PGR leads and professional services PGR support staff in Schools, as well as Faculty leadership, to ensure that the Faculty PGR strategy and policy is implemented in line with institutional strategy and policy.

You will be part of our Faculty team based within the Humanities Research Institute and will report to the Deputy Faculty Director of Operations (Research & Innovation). You will work closely with the Faculty Vice-President and other Faculty Directors, particularly the Assistant Faculty Director for Research and Innovation (Postgraduate Research). This role is a crucial part of the core Faculty professional services team.

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities is home to more than 3,400 undergraduate and postgraduate students and c. 380 staff whose curiosity about the languages, cultures, histories and imaginaries that make us human drives our learning at all levels.
