An exciting opportunity to lead a team working with the innovative Family Group Conferencing (FGC) model of mental health service provision. This varied role includes clinical practice, team management and promoting the use of FGC as widely as possible. To manage the day to day delivery of the FGC service across EPUT Take on FGC coordinator role (Mental Health) in adult Mental Health for the highly complex cases within the service. To ensure high quality delivery of the FGC process across EPUT Undertake presentations, service talks, promotional events for the FGC (Mental Health) locally, nationally and internationally to develop this field of practice across the UK and Europe Work within the FGC framework to improve and maintain the quality of life for those with enduring and severe mental illness both in recovery planning, decision making and safeguarding concerns. Our EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the trust that hires clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our trust hospitals and community settings. Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times. All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish. If you are joining our Trust in a fixed term role, please indicate on your New Starter Paperwork that you wish to join our staff bank. The post holder will work closely with Team Managers across EPUT and partner organisations to develop an understanding and promote the use of Family Group Conferencing (FGC) within the teams. The post holder will liaise with referring practitioners and undertake to develop documentation to support the FGC practice on the Trust patient record systems. Integral to this will be a strengths-based approach that will enable service users and their families to effectively inform decision making and planning. Fundamental to the role is the promotion and further development of the service in conjunction with other community and non-statutory organisation to ensure integrated provision of care.
