Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Family Intervention Therapist on a full -time, permanent basis.
This post is responsible for providing of family intervention therapies within Inclusion Thurrock Early Intervention in Psychosis (EiP) and At Risk Mental States (ARMS) Services across South West Essex. The post-holder, as a senior member of the team may provide consultation to colleagues, ad-hoc supervision and contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings., + To provide a NICE compliant therapeutic service to patients and their families, with a wide range of mental health problems with complex needs, the post holder will be expected to maintain high professional levels of clinical judgement and application of complex skills at all times. The post holder will utilise theoretical and practical clinical skills in applying interventions as required.
+ Where indicated, to utilise information from a variety of sources to provide high quality family interventions.
+ To advise the senior management team on all clinical, managerial and practical matters relevant to the provision, planning and delivery of family psychological services in the area.
+ As a senior clinician, to participate in the evaluation, monitoring and development of the team's operational policies, through the deployment of professional skills in research, service evaluation and audit and ensuring incorporation of psychological frameworks for understanding and provision of high quality care., + To provide specialist evidence-based systemic psychotherapy within the EiP/ ARMS as part of the implementation of the NICE quality standards for the treatment and management of people with psychosis and schizophrenia.
+ Where appropriate, to provide consultation on systemic working to relevant professional systems
+ To develop and lead reflecting team practice with multidisciplinary colleagues as appropriate to both the service context and individual's and family's needs.
