Full Job Description

Are you a qualified solicitor passionate about family law and committed to improving access to justice for those who need it most? Do you thrive on delivering client-centred legal support and empowering individuals during some of the most challenging moments in their lives?

At North Yorkshire Citizens Advice & Law Centre, we're looking for an experienced Family Law Solicitor to join our expanding team. You will manage a diverse caseload, providing expert legal advice and representation while working closely with our existing Family Law specialist. You'll handle issues such as separation, child arrangements, and injunctions, helping to make a tangible difference in your community.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dedicated team within a progressive law centre, offering ongoing professional development and the chance to lead meaningful change. If you have panel membership experience, meet or are close to meeting the Legal Aid Agency (LAA) supervisor standard, and are ready to bring your expertise to a rewarding role in the not for profit sector, we'd love to hear from you!

The role can be based in any one of the following offices across North Yorkshire: Northallerton, Richmond, Malton, Scarborough, Selby, Harrogate or Skipton. Remote working for up to 3 days per week can also be considered.

Reserved interview dates: 14-15 January 2025.
