Full Job Description

  • Manage a varied caseload of private family matters, including but not limited to divorce, financial remedy, child arrangements, and cohabitation disputes.
  • Provide expert legal advice to clients on a range of family law issues, ensuring a high standard of client care at all times.
  • Conduct negotiations, prepare legal documents, and represent clients in court where necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law and legislative developments to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Handle cases from inception to conclusion, managing all aspects of legal processes and documentation.
  • Work closely with colleagues and clients to provide clear, practical advice, with the aim of resolving cases efficiently and amicably where possible.
  • Contribute to the firm's business development efforts and support the team in enhancing client relationships.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and experienced solicitor to manage a solely private family law caseload within a supportive and forward-thinking firm., c. 3+ years PQE or equivalent experience in private family law.
