Full Job Description

The impact you will have:

Working with families you will build positive relationships, and provide individualised support, advice and practical help, that enables the family to strengthen their capacity and capability to create stability for themselves and their children.

You could be supporting people with a variety of support needs which may include, substance dependency, domestic violence, learning difficulties, social exclusion or lack of parenting skills.

The post is mainly based in Aylesbury, however some travel across Buckinghamshire may be required on occasion.

You should have at least one year's experience of working with or volunteering with families, carers, or children, and have a good level of knowledge of some of the issues that can affect everyday life, such as mental health, anxiety, depression, and the difficulties faced by parents/carers of children with behavioural issues.

People might say that you're a good listener, supportive, willing to go that extra mile or something similar. A long as your happy to listen and support people to access the services they need, then this could be the role for you

Due to the nature of this role, a driver's licence and access to a vehicle is required.

Whether it's due to homelessness or poor mental health, the number of people experiencing a crisis is on the rise.
