About the Role

Footprints is a service ran by BANES which sits within the Family Support Plus Team. We are looking for a part time worker (18.5 hours) to join the Footprints Team.

Footprints offers individualised support to parents who have had children removed from their care. Footprints workers support parents to reflect on their own life experiences and how this has impacted on them as individuals as well as affected their ability to safely and adequately care for their children.

Footprints supports parents who have had children removed from their care to :

make positive changes.

explore the reasons their children were removed from their care.

break the cycle of successive removals of their children.

guide parents in their individual areas of need.

access services to support their individual needs and access specialist and tailored advice and support.
