Family Support Worker - Cashes Green Primary School

At Cashes we pride ourselves in the great relationships we have with our families. Following the departure of our long serving Family Support worker we are excited to be recruiting for someone to join our friendly team. Working 30 hours per week (need to be flexible hours not set) term time only + 2 additional weeks spread across the holidays based on needs of our families.

Under the direction of Headteacher, SENCO and SLT you will engage in a range of activities to support the pastoral and social needs of our children, and their families and to assist in the management of an open-door approach to family support. With an overall aim of improving attendance for all our children.

The postholder will be required to attend meetings in other locations and taking children to activities offsite, and working with our families in their homes. Supporting children to and from school might occur so will require a full UK Driving Licence and business use included on your insurance policy. Trauma impact training (ACES) would be advantage.
