Full Job Description

We, in Swindon Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, are looking for a compassionate, caring and dedicated Family & Systemic Therapist to become a vital part our multidisciplinary team. If you're looking for a role where you can make a real difference to the lives of children and young people and also join a committed team that values what you can bring to us, then look no further... You'll be working closely with other Family Therapy colleagues in the pathway, providing extensive opportunities for development through practice and supervision. You will also work alongside other functions such as the Neurodevelopment Clinic, Outreach Service, and Eating Disorders Service (TEDS), so there's plenty of opportunities to share skills and learning. There is also regular reflective space for the team, safeguarding supervision, and dedicated complex case discussions. We understand the importance of systemic thinking in a child and adolescent service, and systemic practices are evident across the team. We support many of the staff in developing their systemic thinking. In fact, we are a popular placement for trainee family therapists and trainee clinical psychologists.
